Every couple of days I talk to my best friend on the phone as we live miles away from each other. Both of us are busy just trying to keeping the boat moving forward, but we take time to call because we both realize we need to hear the laugh of the other. I know that our sense of humor is what united us in the first place and has been one of the strong ties that bind us together. We constantly send funny things to each other plus, can’t wait to tell each other something that will crack us both up. Her melodious laugh has saved me tons on therapy while making me shuck off the weight on my shoulders. So, make time today to call a friend for a laugh. You will find your soul lifted as well as your burdens lighter.
