I am currently obsessing over bar carts. The ironic thing is that I rarely drink. I just find something really sexy and sophisticated about the carts. The carts take me back to the nostalgic 1950’s and 60’s. I remember watching the Dean Martin show and watching Dean and friends in his swanky living room – bar cart and all. It just seems to me that this was a such a civilized era. I love how it was the norm to have a drink in the living room with friends before dinner. Maybe we are just too busy today to enjoy such civility.
I will be moving into my office next week. My office décor is cream and gold and very glamorous. A friend of mine suggested that I add a bar cart. I do have client presentations in the office, so what a lovley touch to serve refreshments from a bar cart. My favorite cart is number 9. Which one is your favorite?
