Inspired by Chateau de la Malmaison de Paris, THG Paris’ Collection Malmaison’s French Empire inspired luxury faucet and taps, designed in partnership with Christofle, are luxury bathroom hardware design at its finest.
As long time readers of ours know, Hadley Court founder and owner, Midland, Texas luxury interior designer Leslie Hendrix Wood of Leslie Hendrix Wood Interiors is a lover of all things Parisian, traditional, ornate, and luxurious and today, dear readers, we’d like to introduce you to another company that celebrates family traditions – our most closely held brand value at Hadley Court:
THG Paris.
Founded 60 years ago by three gentlemen, monsieurs Julien Haudiquez, Andre Tetard, and Alexandre Grisoni, THG partners with world renowned designers like Pierre-Yves Rochon and brands like Christofle, Lalique, Daum and Swarovski to deliver exquisitely designed sink and bath fittings.
As for family traditions, Mr. Tétard (T) married the daughter of Mr. Haudiquez (H) and their their daughter, Laurence Tétard, met and married Michel Gosse, current CEO of THG. This month, when THG celebrated its 60th anniversary in Paris on the Rue Du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in this room at the Hotel Le Bristol Paris, Madame Laurence and Monsieur Gosse, standing before those closest to the company, introduced their own children, who will also be joining the company.
Of all the exquisitely crafted taps and faucets created by THG Paris’ skilled artisans, we are most enamored with the ones created in partnership with French crystal manufacturers, Daum and Lalique, shown below.
They are the epitome of femininity and elegance.
We can easily imagine this gold vanity and sink with its rose shaped, lavendar Daum crystal taps against a gorgeous Fromental wallpaper, like the ones we’re seeing being shared by our #DesignHound friends who are now at Decorex, where THG Paris is also showing.
Which Fromental hand screened and hand painted luxury wallpaper would you put with this, dear readers?
This one?
or maybe this one?
What do you think?
If you prefer clear crystal, then THG Paris’ collaboration with Lalique, for these taps and bathroom fittings, made with white porcelain and gold, could be a better choice for you.
THG Paris’ detailing is perfection in luxury craftsmanship, with every manufacturing process still housed under one roof, thus allowing their discerning luxury clients the finest in custom options, service and quality control.
This may be one of the reasons their fixtures are found in the finest homes and estates and luxury hotels in the world, like the Four Seasons, Geneva, below:
THG Paris:
Thank you for inspiring us with your vision and your dedication to excellence.
We wish the next generation of your family every continuing success.
And, for our readers: if you find yourself visiting Chateau de la Malmaison, the home Josephine built in 1799 for she and her husband, Napoleon Bonaparte, and which today is a famous French historical landmark, remember it as the inspiration for this gorgeous set of bathroom fittings by THG Paris that we shared with you in the opening image, but here seen in silver versus gold.
As always, thank you for subscribing to and reading Hadley Court. We appreciate you.
