Modern Clothes

Over the past few years I have lost some weight and therefore my fashion choices have opened up a bit. With my new found freedom I have embraced styles of clothing that I was always a fan of (but felt like there was not enough Spanx in the world to allow me to wear) such as full skirts dresses from eras gone by.  So one day I sat out on a mission to find some great, fun clothes by firing up the computer and with a little bit of searching discovered a spectacular website that had just what I had in mind, Modcloth.

Modcloth has a vast array of not only clothes and accessories, but an eclectic collection of furnishings and stylish décor which brings me to some great prints for my office to liven up the wall behind my desk.  Their large variety that really does work with a ladies’ curves, allows me find something for every occasion every time I start surfing.  From cute skirts, to beautiful shirts, and dresses that are classically timeless, Modcloth has lots to offer in a one stop shop.  I’m always fond of a site that allows for hassle free returns, exchanges, and free shipping (over $50.00) because the downside to shopping online is sometimes you just don’t know how it is going to fit-Modcloth takes this all into consideration.

From time to time we all want something that just sets us apart from the daily department store finds and my answer is a throwback to the past in a surprisingly modern form.

About Kristi

Kristi Leeper is a lifelong lover of all things creative and crafty. She likes to touch things, dissect them, figure them out and maybe even reproduce them. Growing up in San Angelo, Texas she was exposed to small town values, but the world was always whispering in her ear to come out and play. Life has led her down a myriad of career paths such as a baker, licensed manicurist, florist, and a high school history teacher. The simple truth is she is good at all of these occupations and being good at a lot of things has served her well in life. She currently works as part-time as the Special Projects Manager for the Museum of the Southwest and for her husband keeping the books straight for the company he owns because he is simply a good boss and let’s her go to yoga whenever she wants.
