Jean-Louis Deniot

Jean Louis Deniot is a master at putting a chic Continental spin on a neoclassical-style decor. In 2000, having completed his training at Ecole Camondo, Jean-Louis Deniot launched his Paris based architecture and interior design studio. He currently employs a team of fifteen people. His approach is eclectic. “My style is full of history and references coming from many different periods. I like emblematic interiors, full of archetypical furniture which one could consider ‘New or Cool Classical’. This ranges from Neoclassical to the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and so on.” He has developed a burgeoning international reputation. Interior design projects in the USA include, in New York, a showcase apartment for Donald Trump, the reception at the Carlyle Residence, a house in the Hamptons, and a Chicago apartment decorated in a Palladian style with furniture from the 1930s-1940s; in Paris, there is an apartment in the style of Louis XVI at Palais Royal, a ‘Directoire-Boudoir’ apartment on the Champ de Mars, and a Louis XIV and Neo-roman style apartment on the Rue de l’Université, and a hotel at Place Saint Sulpice, strongly influenced by the Parisian 1930s-1950s.

I love the chic spin Deniot puts on Neo-classical decor. What do you think?

I’m curious to find out what blog system you are utilizing? I’m having some minor security issues with my latest blog and I would like to find something more
secure. Do you have any solutions?
