I am absolutley fascinated with the Hotel Maison Moschino in Milan. I want to plan a trip to Milan just to stay at this hotel. The hotel claims that the Maison Moschino is like falling down the rabbit hole; after a while, you come to expect the unexpected. The interiors appear to be part fairy tale, part daydream. The hotel is housed in a renovated 1840’s neoclassical railway station, the second oldest railway in Italy. You must visit the hotel’s website to view all the exquite guest rooms. They are all so unique, one will want to stay in a different room each night. A few of my favorite rooms are Alice’s Room (pictured below), where you are treated to a giant teacup and saucer which serve as a coffee table; Life is a Bed of Roses (pictured below); The Forest, where the four posters on the bed are made of actual trees; Little Red Riding Hood, where you will find a stuffed “big, bad wolf” waiting for you in bed: and my very favorite, “Sleeping in a Ballgown (pictured below), where the bedding and furniture are made of ballgowns.
