Gold Still Casts a Glow…
It’s time add some sparkle to your home!
Gold is still a strong trend for home décor. Last Wednesday, I participated in a Twitter chat product preview of some of the new products which will be unveiled at High Point Market next month. I am part of the official 2015 Style Spotter team for the High Point Market Authority and will be “spotting” emerging trends and showcasing my top finds I discover during market.
The preview chat, held by Lisa Ferguson of Decor Mentor and her team, in partnership with High Point Market, was my first opportunity to see some of the new products to be featured in October. It was so much fun to see some of the top picks from designers around the country.
Gold is a recurrent thread in many of the furnishings and accessories. You may remember my post last fall about seeing more gold during the last few markets. Well, its seems that gold is still going strong and appears to a trend that is here for the long haul.
How stunning is the SoHo luxe sideboard by Bernhardt Furniture?
The SoHo sideboard features laser-cut brass metal fretwork over inset mirrored glass. This is refreshingly modern while giving a nod to the past.
All I can say is WOW! This beauty is the Havana Grande Chandelier and is the handiwork of the ever so talented Currey and Company. The chandelier would be equally stunning in a modern space as well a traditional one.
How fabulous is this gold boucle knot? Can’t you just imagine it adorning a beautiful coffee table?
This dazzling Easton lamp by Wildwood Lamps & Eastern Inc. would add warmth and regality to any room. The lamp is the perfect solution to add some sparkle to your home.
This glittering gem by Dunes and Duchess would be glamorous in any setting. The Leeward Drink Drop is the perfect glittery companion to any sofa or chair.
The trend for Fall 2015 is
Go Bold, Go Gold, or Go Home!
Are you on board with the gold trend? Which one is your favorite?
Stay tuned as I bring you more top trends and finds from High Point Market and be sure to join me and my fellow 2015 official Style Spotters this Friday, Sept. 11th at 3 pm ET on the IDC’s Google Hangout, sponsored by #HPMKT, where we will be discussing more of what we expect to be seeing at Fall’s 2015 High Point Market October 17th-22nd!
