Today a cold front actually blew into West Texas giving us a much needed break from the stifling heat. The temperature is in the mid 60’s and I finally have hope that fall is upon us. The nip in the air made me think about sprucing the house up for fall. My potted plants on my front porch need attention. The hot weather has shriveled them up to nothing. I came across these fall potted plants and felt inspired to do the same at my house. Native grasses are such an easy way to add a touch of fall. I also think I might try some cat tails and natural branches in my pots. I never think of dried plants and branches for outside. I also love the gold ceramic pots. They scream fall to me. I am off to the nursery to redo my pots and hoping fall is here to stay.
