It is so hard to believe that Fall is upon us. Today I took out my autumn flag and realized that pumpkins will soon line the entryway to my home. As my mind contemplates the upcoming cooler weather, my taste buds get excited because I love to bake and cook for the seasons.  About ten years ago, I was searching for a recipe and stumbled upon the suggestion to use King Arthur Flour because the author just raved about the difference in made in her baked goods. I made a quick note to look for said flour next time I was shopping and low and behold there on the baking aisle I found the now familiar red and white package of flour that is a staple in my home.  And I’m going to honest; it did make a difference in my baked goods! Over the years I have converted many a soul to King Arthur Flour, but they are so much more than flour. For anyone who likes to cook or bake, King Arthur is a massive resource of both recipes and supplies that they are my “go to” stop for all my baking needs.

Employee owned out of Norwich, Vermont, King Arthur Flour is a customer orientated company driven by quality products and outstanding customer service.  I have purchased yeasts, vanilla, flours, decorations, pans, mixes, dried fruits, and the list goes on and on. But my top three things I adore and use constantly are their Vietnamese Cinnamon, Boiled Cider, and Nylon Spreaders.

If you have never used straight up Vietnamese Cinnamon you have no idea what you are missing. Most cinnamon is bitter on the tongue, but one little taste of this stuff reveals a sweet, spicy, amazingly smooth flavor that enhances any recipe that call for cinnamon and by the way-cinnamon toast made with this is to die for.

Boiled Cider you might ask?? Yes, it is like an apple orchard in a bottle. The unsweetened, highly intense apple taste brings life to anything you make with apples.  I add a bit to apple pies, crisps, sautéed cabbage, oatmeal, tea, and my favorite, as part of vinaigrette.

Last but not least, is a great utilitarian item, the nylon spreader.  I use this every single day! Great for spreading jam & butter, digging peanut butter out of the jar, icing cakes and the uses just keep going.  These lightweight, dishwasher safe, and kid friendly wonders last forever and become a mainstay in any home they find their way into.

I could ramble forever about this website, but instead I implore you to look for yourself. I promise you will find so many things you want to buy and bake you will need to start now.  Also, if you are not a huge fan of making a mess…they have a bakery and will send you their fresh baked items or ship as gifts to whomever you wish!
