If you’re searching for a new sofa or a way to introduce a new texture to your interior space, try a Chesterfield. The button-back leather sofa known as the classic Chesterfield, has been popping up more frequently as the premiere sofa of choice for living spaces. The Chesterfield, a more masculine sofa once only available in brown or black leather, is now available in an array of colors such as chartreuse, red, lavender, blue, green, yellow, – and even prints. A more practical and softer approach to incorporating this tufted titan into your home is to go for a neutral linen, especially for a French chic interior. You can also choose a vintage worn leather Chesterfield – shown above – which is an excellent statement piece to pair with Italian or Spanish style interiors. Here are some ways to incorporate this traditional & iconic piece into your home…

The tufted titan is transformed from a masculine anchor in a smokers room or library to the seductive fem fatal at the fireplace in lovely lavender. The tufted and curved back also makes this statement piece a delight from any angle. Consider a Chesterfield style sofa to act as a natural room divider for your interior space…

Furniture designers and manufacturers are also noting the Chesterfield trend, and the style is already a Top Pick from Interior Designer Lisa Ferguson for the upcoming Fall High Point Market – scheduled October 19 – 24.
