Travel Must Haves-Its the little things

For my friends and fellow bloggers attending the Design Bloggers Conference in Los Angeles, I wanted to share with you my list of must have travel essentials. First and foremost, you need a travel tote to carry your laptop and Ipad. Don’t you love the monogrammed one in green-pantone’s color of the year. I am a southern girl who loves anything monogrammed. I travel with a monogrammed, plastic-lined makeup case. I have learned the hard way that the plastic lining is imperative for avoiding disasters caused by spills. I don’t leave home without my mini emergency kit. The kit is chopped full of essentials including hairspray, clear nail polish, nail polish remover, emery board, lip balm, earring backs, clear elastics, sewing kit, double-sided tape, stain remover, deodorant towelette, pain reliever, tampon, breath freshener, dental floss and adhesive bandages. It has saved me in more than a few pinches. And for all of us sitting in conferences all day, a pashmina is easy to pack and can take the chill off in an icy conference room. And last of all, you must travel with a back up charger for you laptop, ipad and iphone. I find if I don’t have access to my electronics I get a little panicked. Is it a good or bad thing to be so reliant on technology?

I have included this indispensable travel list. You can personalize the list to your liking at Flight001. So there you have my travel must haves. I wish you all safe travels and I hope you take time to smell the roses during your journey.
