What is the essence of gracious living?

If it is, in the words of interior designer and author, Alexandra Stoddard, “creating a happy home where you can flourish,” then we believe that the #HadleyCourtHolidayGiveaway Tenbury Game Table has helped to create just such a place for the winner and her young family.

Hadley Court received word this week that the winner of the Tenbury Game Table designed by William Yeoward for Jonathan Charles Fine Furniture had arrived in the Sacramento home of our Holiday Giveaway winner, Teana.

“It is so exquisite!” said Teana. “It was absolutely lovely in the photo, but that pales in comparison to seeing it in person. and the craftsmanship is impeccable.”

Especially delighted with the table is Teana’s 2-and-a-half year old daughter, Aaliyah, who is autistic. “I placed some of her favorite toys on it, and she was ready to sit and start playing.“

“She loves the whimsical aspect of the stacked books, and it is becoming her own special place to play, imagine, grow and learn, stirring her tiny and bright imagination.”

Teana’s favorite feature of the table, she says “are the hidden drawers disguised as books. Aaliyah has many blocks, crayons and toys that have multiple pieces, so having a place to keep them organized and tidy is going to be awesome. Aaliyah hasn’t yet realized that the books open out, so when she does, she will open and close them over and over!”

The entire family has been enriched by the creative, hand-crafted table. “My husband, Bradley, adores the craftsmanship of the table as well. It is exceptionally made and will definitely be a conversation starter when we have guests over.”
