We all have areas of vulnerability, don’t we? Mine, I know, is not having a portfolio of my design work up on my site.
I don’t usually share many photos of my design work. There are quite a few reasons for this.
1. I live in a community where many of my clients are VERY private and prefer anonymity, which I respect.
2. When I am on a job, I am usually so busy, I forget to take photos. And when I do take photos with my phone, they usually aren’t very good. I haven’t mastered IPhone photography yet.
3. I haven’t taken the time to have my work professionally photographed. Not good, I know.
Anyhow, I thought I would get over my fear of not taking good IPhone photos and share a collage of project photos from the past few months. As you can see, I need some IPhone tutorials! I have been working on a range of projects from a modern office, very large traditional home renovation, a hospital lounge, a modern kitchen, two traditional family rooms, and a bohemian styled teenager’s room.
I hope you enjoy a few rough snippets of my work. My goal for the fall is to concentrate on photographing some of my work {if my clients will allow it} and sharing it with you very soon!
