Good morning! Today, we’re sharing our 5 favorite organizing tools to help you get a fresh start this week on organizing the parts of your life that might be causing you tiny bits of extra stress, so you can feel calmer and able to handle, with patience and aplomb, the inevitable requests, calls or last minute business trips that can throw your daily schedule out of sync.
Ready?
#1 – The Boho Scarf Organizer designed by Matt Carr and Bettie Cott, + the new, The Little Striped Dress, designed by Erika Kovesdi and Matt Car for UMBRA
Our favorite scarf organizer, The Boho, above, from Umbra, has recently been joined by a new item, a jewelry organizer, The Little Striped Dress, below. How many times have you had to wait for your daughter to find *just the right* jewelry or scarf to wear, while you are needing to get out of the house? We love the idea of these hanging on a wall as art – in your daughter’s bedroom, bathroom or dormitory room. Do you? At 15.00 and 20.00, respectively, they are inexpensive, chic ways to help your daughter find what she needs, fast, as she gets ready for school..or her workday.
#2 – The Grid It – A Travel Must Have
A top pain point for a lot of us is trying to find the *stuff* at the bottom of our purses or travel bags. The GRID IT family of organizers solves this problem beautifully. They come in different sizes, depending on your needs, and slide neatly into and out of whatever you’re carrying. This is such a great solution for the myriad cords we carry for our electrical devices when we’re travelling, and the men in your life will appreciate it, too, if you’re looking for a practical Father’s Day gift for a tech oriented, travelling Dad.
#3 – The Wrap It Up Gift Bag Organizer, designed by Adam Levine
There are a lot of gift bag organizers on the market, but we like this one because of how much it stores. If you’re a busy Mom, and you need to store a lot of different types of gift wraps for different occasions, and all of the bags, ribbons, bows, stickers and other associated items that come with that, the deluxe version of this shown below { there is also a smaller one } will help you feel less stressed and more organized when you have to wrap a gift at the last minute. The QVC Shopping Network loves this, too.
#4 – U BOARD SMART by Seraphim Group
This pretty, and sturdy, glass stand frees up desk space, keeps your phone charged, allows you to see your day calendar at a glance and has a cup holder for your Starbucks coffee! It also has 3 USB ports on the side, to reduce cord clutter on your desk. And, if you have cats, it’s also useful to protect your keyboard from them – to keep those unplanned messages from getting sent to your clients 🙂
#5 – The CARRIE Wardrobe from Moore Councill
Introduced at the last High Point Market, the CARRIE wardrobe, designed by Gary Inman and *style spotted* by Mitzi Beach { whose book, *Boomer Smarts, Boomer Power* includes an interview with Leslie Hendrix Wood on spirituality } , is a gorgeous, functional design for anyone that does not have a lot of closet space, and is looking for a way to organize their bags, scarves and jewelry. We also love the beautiful hardware on this elegant piece of furniture.
What do you think? Do you love this as much as we do?

And, lastly, if the thought of organizing what you have seems overwhelming to you… take it one tiny baby step at a time. There is no rush. Do it on your own timetable. When you’re done, we promise you your life will take on a tranquility and peace that will surprise you. Organizing, well, to meet the needs of you and your family, really is the key to a gracious life.
