Help for Naturally Curly Hair

As a child, I repeatedly asked my mother for shampoo as a birthday gift. Of course, I never got it as that probably struck her as the most odd request ever. I knew they made shampoos that promised to make your hair silky and shiny, so it made sense to me that they would make shampoo to enhance curls, right?

It wasn’t until last year that I really got fed-up with the entire straightening of my curls. I noticed that the top layer of my hair was completely straight but hidden underneath were beautiful curls just begging to come out and play. So I did what any middle-aged American woman would do – I googled it! What I found changed my life, seriously.

Deva Curl – these products are amazing! I rushed right out to Ulta and bought the trial/travel kit of products, so desperate for an answer to this life long problem. I tried the products at home and I was somewhat impressed. We just happened to be visiting New York City last October so I was able to secure an appointment at Devachan Salon, the salon that started it all. At Devachan, they cut your hair dry, which makes a big difference. They also told me to leave in the conditioner. Ok? Curly hair needs a lot of moisture!

So a year later, continuing to use Deva Curl products and cutting my hair dry, people are still asking if I’ve gotten a perm. And now you know, it has been a life long quest of mine to find the right hair products for my hair type. I was “blessed” with naturally curly hair. As a matter of fact, approximately sixty percent of us are blessed with curls! If you’re in the sixty percent, I encourage you to find out more by visiting mydevacurl.com.
