I wanted to share with you two of my most prized possessions in the world, my children’s christening gowns. The featured image is a photo of the bottom of my son’s gown. I adore the monogrammed W for his last name. Another thing I love about my children’s gowns is the fact that I monogrammed their name and the date of their christening in the lining of the gown. It is my hope that the gowns will be used to christen generations to come.
I have framed the gowns in shadow boxes and I absolutely adore them. I see them everyday and they are a constant reminder that God has blessed me with two wonderful children. They are also a reminder that I promised to raise them to love the Lord.
I can gratefully say that my children are now 15 and 17 and are maturing into wonderful young adults. I can’t think of any art I would rather have to adorn my walls. To me, these masterpieces are priceless.
