I was recently introduced to two of the most amazing apps; SugarSync and Evernote. SugarSync is a service that actively syncs files across computers and other devices for file backup, access and sharing. Now when I am at the office I can access all of my files on my home computer through SugarSync. I can also access documents and photos from my laptop and home computer on my IPad and IPhone. It is so easy to setup that I actually set mine up myself.
Evernote is like your filing cabinet in the clouds. Evernote gives you access to your notes, images, and voice recordings on all of your devices. I use Evernote to keep folders for each of my design clients. In each client’s file I keep photos of furnishings, room measurements, proposals, etc. The applications are endless. My daughter will soon be applying to colleges and I think I may keep all of her applications, resumes, etc in a file folder. The set up is super easy. You can also send important emails to Evernote as wll.
In my conquest to get organized in 2012, I am relying on these 2 apps to eliminate paper clutter.
