It’s June! The month in summer when peonies are in bloom…and the month of Dallas Market Center’s #JUNESNEAKPEEK blogger event on Thursday, June 19th!
Once again, I’m honored to have been invited back to be 1 of the 5 hosts to the first 25 design and lifestyle bloggers and social media influencers who sign up to attend this fun networking event where attendees are gifted with wonderful swag bags, chances to win prizes from the showrooms we visit and the opportunity to be the 1st to preview the upcoming trends in lighting, gifts, rugs, furniture and home accessories that will be seen in stores around the country this fall!
If YOU would like to sign up to attend, Meredith Hite, the VP of Corporate Communications at Dallas Market Center, has made a $10.00 discount available to readers of Hadley Court. Just use the code JUNEHOST2014 when you sign up, here.
Last June, I have fond memories of winning this lamp in a random drawing held at one of the showrooms we visited. It now graces the corner of my credenza in my new design offices in Midland, Texas at Chancellor Interiors.
Events like this always include speakers and I’m happy for my good friend, Dallas designer Denise McGaha, a fellow host, who has been invited to speak to all the attendees at the #JUNESNEAKPEEK about “Designing On A Deadline* – the tagline for her successful Dallas based interior design business.
This event is about the people you meet and the friendships you form, too, and I am grateful that Leslie Carothers, on the right, below, was able to attend this event in January, in my place, when I wasn’t able to due to a family situation, even though I was still an official host. She’s pictured below with Shelly Mabry Rosenberg who did some wonderful guest blog posts for my blog last year about trends.
If you’d like to read an account of what it’s like to attend this event as a 1st time attendee, Deborah Main, whose one of a kind couture pillows are made from vintage fabrics and scarves wrote this blog post about her experience when she attended the Sneak Peek event for the 1st time in January of this year.
One of Deborah’s pillows made from a vintage Hermes scarf is below. Deborah has been so supportive of my blog. Thank you, Deborah, and I hope to meet you this time.
Please meet my fellow hosts for this event here.
And I invite you to subscribe to the blogs of my fellow hosts, Denise, here, Elle, here, Shay, here and Kelley, here so you can meet and get to know them before this exciting bi-annual event – the largest in Texas for design and lifestyle bloggers and social media influencers!
Don’t you just love searching for that perfect mitered corner on a linen napkin for your clients who appreciate the fine points of gracious living?
I do and I hope you will join us all at Dallas Market’s #JUNESNEAKPEEK blogger event.
I’d love to meet you.
