As we all prepare to celebrate the 4th of July and enjoy an extended weekend filled with family, friends and fireworks, we thought we’d take a look at red, white and blue as home decor. Or patriotic home decor. Is it for you? Would you ever choose to decorate a room in patriotic colors? Do you worry the colors would be too bright, too loud or just not you? As we looked for inspiration we weren’t too sure as to what we’d find, but our findings quite surprised us all. What we saw resembled nothing of our grand old flag, but rooms that were majestic, stately, elegant, and handsome. Some rooms reveal a bold personality while others are a bit more subdued.
