Last Wednesday night, Lisa Ferguson of Decor Mentor along with 5 of her designer mentors, held an official #HPMkt Twitter chat. This was my first ever twitter chat and boy were the tweets flying. It was difficult trying to keep up. Cheminne Taylor Smith, the VP of marketing for the High Point Market Authority( the world’s largest furniture market), assembled 300 or so pictures of new market intros and Lisa and her Design Mentors: Lisa Kahn-Allen, Elaine Williamson, Jennifer Brouwer, Kati Greene Curtis and Beth Dotolo of Pulp Design Studio curated their favorites from this group. I must say that participating in the tweet chat was like being a child waiting for Christmas morning. It was so exciting to see each new product revealed-like unwrapping a mountain of gifts.
