Pink isn’t just for millenials, it’s a gorgeous color to decorate with and I can’t get enough of it.

If you’ve been wanting to implement pink into your home but at a loss of how to do so, I’ve got you covered with some very stylish inspiration! Keep reading to see how we make pink home decor work.

Blush Crush: Our Favorite Pink Home Decor Ideas

Pops of Hot Pink

Bright pinks can seem tricky to pull off but with the right accents, beautiful things can happen.

If you’re working with a larger space, you’ll have all the room in the world to have fun and play around with brighter & bolder pinks, implementing it into design, decor, and maybe even furniture.

The best way to make things work with brighter pinks is to start with a smaller space in the room. This is where you can add bright pink decor and art.

Once you’ve constructed this sweet little spot to your liking, pull it into the rest of the room with a bigger accent piece that’s a fair distance away (about 10 feet from the sweet spot).

This adds dimension to the whole room and allows each pink piece to pop in its own right!

Decorating with Blush as a Neutral

To add pink to your decor in a more subtle way, use it as a neutral. Implementing a more neutral blush color can be done beautifully through drapery, throws, cushions, rugs, or sofas. Doing this adds to the ambiance of the room versus the style of it.

Ultimately, subtle and neutral blush decor will give off a calmer, more cohesive look and feel to the room, truly creating a sophisticated and elegant space. pink home decor ideas

Pink in Unexpected Places

While it’s easy to plop a pink throw blanket on a couch, consider integrating pink in unexpected places like these pink light fixtures.

Elegant & Plush Accents

Sometimes, all you need is a singular splash of pink to liven up a room but keep things elegant & sophisticated. The best way to do this is through a larger accent piece such as a barcelona or wing chair or accent sofa.

Make your statement pieces work by using complementary neutrals throughout the rest of the room such as metals, creams, and grays.

Pink Statement Rugs & Pillows

If you love an eclectic look, try a pink rug. But don’t overwhelm the space with pink and instead, incorporate other colors in the rest of the decor.

With a bolder pink on the floor and lighter, more complementary pinks throughout the rest of the room, you create both a focal point and cohesive flow in the room.

Pretty Pink Home Decor

Pink is an unexpected color to use in the home which is the best part about it, especially once you figure out a stylish way to include it. You can implement the color into your home decor as a statement color or focal point of a room or, just a splash adds instant style and sophistication to a modern, vintage, or mid-century room. Take advantage and have fun with the versatility of pink!
