I was in Little Rock earlier this week and I had the great pleasure of touring the Oscar de la Renta exhibit at The Clinton Presidential Museum. The exhibit displays more than 30 couture outfits designed by the fashion icon. The creations range from inaugural ball gowns for first ladies to glitzy numbers for Hollywood’s elite.
As you can see, the gowns are absolutely stunning and exquisite in detail.
I have seen the gowns in print and on television, but those mediums do not do justice to these gowns.
The richness in detail is beyond comprehension. I have now added owning an Oscar de la Renta gown to my bucket list.
If you are near Little Rock, I highly recommend that you go see the exhibit. You will feel as if you are Cinderella, but hurry before you turn into a pumpkin. The exhibit ends on December 1, 2013.
