How to Organize Your Closet

Inventory and Toss
The first step in organizing your closet is to inventory and toss what you no longer want or need. Divide your clothes and accessories into three piles: Donate, repair, keep. If you’re emotionally attached to an item, ask yourself if it’s something you would buy and love today. If you haven’t worn it in the past year or so, chances are the answer is “no”! Only keep items you truly love and donate the rest.

Put Essentials on Display
Don’t store everything away and keep your essentials on display like shoes, accessories, and handbags you frequently use. For the purses that aren’t in use, store them in the dust bags they came with and use packing paper to stuff them to help them keep their shape. You can also use to help boots retain their shape as well.
