Holiday Mantel Decor We Adore

Keep it classic and simple with black, white and red decor. We love how the artwork anchors the look. And you can easily refresh this look each year by simply swapping out the art!

Decorate with Candlelight

Decorate your mantel with candles for a truly romantic vibe, day and night. If you’re wanting an elegant look, try long pillars. For something a bit more eclectic, use a variety of candles in different sizes and votives but with a shared color scheme. Worried about the flame? Try flameless candles.

Think Beyond the Garland

We love a gorgeous garland, but beautiful greenery can also be used on the mantel. We love the simple yet elegant vibe it adds to the home. Head to your local nursery for a fresh design.

Get Glam with Gold and Silver

Mixing metals isn’t just a fashion trend, it’s a gorgeous home decorating trend, too. We love this gold and silver color palette which makes for a decidedly elegant holiday mantel. This shimmery look is sophisticated yet festive.

Try Plush and Pink

Think pink isn’t for the holidays? Think again! We love this plush and pink look. Get the look by layering textures with faux fur throws and stockings to match. Hints of pink throughout add color to the room.

More Holiday Mantel Decorating Tips

  • Keep proportions and balance in mind. Start with larger objects on the outside and keep smaller ones toward the center.
  • Add visual interest by adding items of varying heights
  • Experiment with textures: try shimmery objects, greenery, luxe velvet and even rustic pieces
  • Pick a color palette to keep the look streamlined

How do you like to decorate your mantel for the holiday season?
