congrats

Hadley Court and Bernhardt Furniture are happy to announce the winner of the elegant HAVEN writing desk in Hadley Court’s 3rd and final #TimelessDesign Giveaway for 2014.

The winner is Eileen of Scottsdale, Arizona. “I am elated that I’m the lucky winner of the Haven desk,” she said. “We are moving into a new home, and this piece will be a fabulous addition. We have many rooms already of Bernhardt’s furniture to make it feel welcome.”

The Haven Collection, which the sophisticated desk in a creamy Cameo finish on maple veneers is part of, is one of the two top selling collections at Bernhardt.  Bernhardt has been a design leader in pioneering a new glamorous transitional look, as we explored in our recent Hadley Court post, Bernhardt Defines the New Transitional Glamour.

Eileen says she plans to place the desk in “the wonderful light-filled living room, where it will look like a jewel.”

Perhaps, not unlike the light-filled room above? We have asked Eileen to send us a photo of the desk in her home, and when she does we will share it with all of you who have become admirers of this piece inspired by English classics but with modern energy.

Leslie Hendrix Wood, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Hadley Court, passed along her congratulations to Eileen. “I hope you enjoy the beautiful HAVEN desk from Bernhardt. This classic piece with its modern twist will be an elegant addition to your home. Please enjoy, and our deepest thanks to Bernhardt for giving Hadley Court such a fabulous piece to offer our lovely readers.”

We sincerely thank you for your participation and enthusiasm.
