Just one day before celebrations take place across America on July 4th, Hadley Court is thrilled to also celebrate the winner of our Timeless Design Sweepstakes, Carolyn Robertson of St. Paul, Minnesota!
Carolyn’s name was selected after midnight this morning in a random drawing as the winner of the exquisite triple tiered Memphis Accent Table in gold-leaf finish with basket-weave scroll work, designed by Charlotte Moss for Century Furniture.
“How exciting,” said Carolyn upon hearing the news. “I have an eclectic, artsy living and dining area in my 1912 house, and I believe this table will mix in very well. I’ll send some photos once it arrives and I find the perfect spot for it.”
Leslie Hendrix Wood, Founder and Editor-in-chief of the Hadley Court blog sends her personal words of best wishes. “Congratulations from the Hadley Court family to Carolyn Robertson, the winner of the Timeless Design Sweepstakes. We hope that this exquisite piece by Charlotte Moss for Century will be a timeless treasure in your family for many generations to come.”
The Memphis Table is part of the 40-piece Charlotte Moss Collection of upholstery, bedroom, dining and occasional furniture introduced by Century Furniture at the Spring 2014 Spring High Point Market.
The collection unites two iconic brands, Century Furniture, known for design leadership and craftsmanship, and Charlotte Moss, an internationally acclaimed designer, prolific author and passionate philanthropist.
Charlotte said, “I send my congratulations to Carolyn, the winner of the Memphis Table! So looking forward to seeing a picture of where you put it!”
At Century Furniture, Director of Marketing Comer Wear made the donation of the Memphis Table possible. “Congratulations on behalf of the Century family to Carolyn, the winner of the Memphis Table. This fabulous little table designed by Charlotte Moss and crafted by our team is a work of art with ribbons of intricate metalwork holding delicate mirrored inserts. No doubt a timeless design! We hope that you will cherish it for years to come.”
Like Charlotte, we at Hadley Court can hardly wait until Century delivers the table to Carolyn and we can see a photo of the elegant piece with mirrored inserts in her turn-of-the-century home built in 1912!
A piece that is both luxurious and practical, the Memphis Table with its mirrored, tiered surfaces provide a perfect place for glasses, a cup of tea, a cell phone or a book. Will Carolyn put the table beside a chair, chaise or sofa as seen here in a bedroom Charlotte Moss designed in a past Kips Bay Showhouse in New York City?
We can’t wait to find out, Carolyn! May you and your family have an extra fun Fourth, as you anticipate the excitement of where to place this new addition to your home!
In the meantime, we’ll be waiting for your pictures!
And readers, please stay tuned for our 2nd wonderful #TimelessDesign Giveaway, launching on the blog Friday, July 18th!
