Happy New Year, dear readers! Meet some wonderful people on the blog today and be inspired by wonderful products for your 2015 kitchen and bath projects!
As some of you may know, I am very excited to be going for the 1st time to the National Kitchen and Bath Association Show in Las Vegas, known as KBIS, as part of Modenus’s #BlogTourVegas in 2 weeks. Once there, I will be reporting back to you here on the blog about the exciting new products that I think both you, as my blog’s readers, and my own design clients here in Midland, Texas will enjoy seeing.
I can’t wait to show you and share with you everything I will be seeing from our wonderful sponsors, whom you will meet later on this blog post where I will give you just a little taste of their elegant products. I hope to whet your appetite for checking back often to see what beautiful new introductions they will have for me to share with you that might be useful for you in your own homes.
But first I know you might be asking..
What is #KBIS2015 ?
The National Kitchen and Bath Association’s show, known as KBIS, is the largest tradeshow in the country for the kitchen and bath industry and it where I and my fellow designers have the opportunity to see, touch, and learn about the cabinetry, appliances, countertop and flooring materials that we specify for our clients. My own clients here in Midland, Texas, where I practice interior design, count on me to know what’s new and to be able to give them my first hand appraisal of one vendor as compared to another, and I know the same holds true for all my fellow designers coming with me on #BlogTourVegas and all the other designers that will be at this show from around the world.
What is #BlogTourVegas?
The Blog Tour phenomena was started by Veronika Miller, the founder of Modenus, an online resource and portfolio site for luxury interior designers and the manufacturers who want to reach them. For each Blog Tour that Veronika plans, potential sponsors are contacted to see if they want to be a part of receiving the publicity a curated group of the country’s top bloggers can bring to them, and once they sign on, Veronika then carefully selects a group of bloggers for each Blog Tour and, in return, our trips are paid for by her sponsors and we agree to bring you the best of what they have to offer on our blogs.
For this Blog Tour, my fellow #BlogTourVegas goers are all pictured above [there are a lot of us!] and if you’d like to learn even more about each one of them, I invite you to click, here.
As almost all of you know who have been readers of my blog for any length of time, Hadley Court is all about…
Gracious Living. Timeless Design. Family Traditions.
The pictures I will share with you here while I’m attending #BlogTourVegas will be filtered through that lens reflecting my own point of view.
However, each of my fellow designers has their own unique visual filter and I encourage you to read through their blog posts over the coming weeks, too, so you see their pictures and thoughts on the upcoming trends to get a well rounded view of all you may want to consider if you are building or remodeling a new kitchen or bath in 2015.
Now, I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our sponsors – who are making this wonderful trip possible for all of us + planning many special events.
I hope, if you use Pinterest, that you will pin these graphics to help these brand sponsors know how much we appreciate their support of designers and the blogging community.
To each of you, our 11 sponsors: my sincere appreciation for the opportunity you have given me, through Modenus’s #BlogTourVegas. I am very much looking forward to seeing your products in person, and meeting your teams.
For you, my clients and potential clients: I am very much looking forward to coming back from this trip completely inspired with new ideas about how I can design a more gracious, more beautiful, more functional, timelessly designed kitchen or bath for your own homes.
For you, my readers: I am looking forward to inspiring you with picturesa and ideas for your own kitchens and baths, no matter where you may live around the world here on the blog. Please check back in often or, better, I invite you to subscribe now so my blog will automatically arrive in your inbox enabling you to read it at your convenience.
And lastly, my sincere appreciaton to you, Veronika Miller, for inviting me to be part of this wonderful trip for the 1st time and to everyone on your team, helping to make it a positive and exciting experience for all of us.
I can’t wait!
